MiG Corp. is involved in several programs aimed at developing and manufacturing light, multipurpose commercial aircraft.

The most advanced of these programs is the production of Ilyushin’s IL-103 four-seat, state-of-the-art general aviation aircraft.

The IL-103 was the lead aircraft in establishing the joint Russian-American certificate process, and was the first Russian aircraft to receive U.S. Federal Aviation Administration certification.

Comfortable, simple and flexible in its use, the highly efficient IL-103 will become the pioneer of multipurpose general aviation aircraft, which is new for the Russian aircraft market.

Derivatives of the Il-103 are planned for a variety of uses, including agricultural, environment and observation/patrol applications. These derivatives are being developed and certified in a joint program with Ilyushin Design Bureau.
