DUSv FIBER-OPTIC ANGULAR RATE SENSOR

The fiber-optic angular rate sensor is developed and used in integrated flight control systems for measuring and checking the moving objects angular rate by transformation of angular rotation rate into an output electrical signal (voltage).
DUSv is the all-fiber version of the Sanjack ring optical interferometer manufactured by welding technology and placed in a hermetic enclosure.

The sensor is distinguished by:

• small weight and overall dimensions;
• rapid start and bringing to operating mode;
• high sensitivity;
• low power consumption;
• silent operation;
• high reliability;
• unlimited start number;
• absence of errors inherent in other sensor types;
• external actions tolerance.
