Mass measuring and centre-of-gravity position system SIMC
Using the information from the landing gear load transducer the SIMC system determines ramp mass value and center-of-gravity position (centering) before take-off, calculates changes in the center-of-gravity position in flight and outputs necessary information for the crew and interacting airborne equipment systems.
The SIMC panel provides the setting of operation modes and computer data indication, as well as execution of a standby manual input mode.
In addition there are provided:
• execution of built-in system components check with outputting the information about failures into interacting airborne systems;
• execution of the tests and ground simulation of SIMC – AIRCRAFT;
• data processing for the fuel-measuring and inertial systems.
Exchange interface conforms to GOST 18977 - 89, RTM 1495 - 75 (var.3) and
ARINC – 429.
