CRAB-1 PT-SPK PROCEDURAL SIMULATOR – TRAINING AND MONITORING SYSTEM

CRAB-1 PT-SPK is the pilot training technical aid intended for forming, maintaining, perfection and restoring of practices, skills and qualities which are needed for the Ka-50 helicopter airborne armament application.

The simulator provides the opportunity to train pilots for application of such air armaments as Vikhr anti-tank guided missile, S-8 aircraft unguided missile and 2A-42 cannon in the short time and with small costs.
The simulator can be operatively transported by a track and in a helicopter cargo cabin owing to its small mass and dimension. Small dimension allows also to locate it in training classrooms. The simulator does not need a special equipped room, and it requires 220 V voltage for operation.
The simulator consists of a visual situation simulator, an instructor workstation, a computing system, a simulator cabin and an interface unit between the cabin and the computing system.

Simulator specifications

AC supply voltage 220 V, 50 Hz
Input current 4,5 A
Warm-up time 10 min
Continuous operation time with a break 8 h
PT-SPK Mass 500 kg
Simulator mass in package and transportation container 1000 kg
Overall dimensions: 2,5?2m,0?2,0 m

Simulators are delivered with service manual, which contains complete information on routine operation and troubleshooting for an end user.

Technical support
Free equipment troubleshooting is ensured during three years beginning from the moment of the simulator installation and handing over. Service personnel is being trained in the process of the simulator setup and adjustment in a customer territory.
