Organised at the equipped base of the customer, overhaul and recovery are provided to set the service life between overhauls at such length as if overhaul has been provided at an overhaul plant.

Overhaul at the Customer’s facilities makes it possible to reduce the time of helicopter return into operation without any considerable expeditures, as well as allows specialists of the customer to practically master the technique of airframe and systems repair. Repair and recovery work is organised by mobile teams of specialists from the Mil plant. Leading specialists of the plant supervise the work, engineering and technical support and assess quality of the work done. The plant also sends a crew to fly test flights on aircraft after overhaul.
It requested by the Customer, his technical staff can partake in his work. After the training and receiving of the required skills, specialists of the Customer can be allowed to work individually in some spheres, after appropriate certification.
We offer the following services:
1. Preparation of Customer’s base for overhaul:
- assessment of the conditions at the base;
- inspection and assessment of customer’s spare parts and elements to determine whether they can be used for overhaul;
- check of documentation on helicopters;
- drawing of a conclusion on the technical condition of the base, setting of the list of the equipment, instruments and tools, and their total prise, required for overhaul.
2. Overhaul and recovery:
- taking-in of aircraft for repair, drawing a list of elements to undergo overhaul, and the list of bulletins to be fulfilled;
- dismantling of elements;
- defects supervision of the airframe;
- repair of major parts and units;
- repair of the airframe;
- implementation of bulletins, relating of flights safety;
- mounting of repaired elements;
- check-up and adjustment;
- ground and flight tests.
3. Filling of technical documentation on overhaul and recovery:
- filling of the Technical Act and Conclusion of the Designer General on setting the extended service life till the next overhaul;
- filing of the Helicopter acceptance act after overhaul by the customer.
Along side with overhaul of choppers, the plant can ensure modernisation of equipment, if agreed with the Customer.
The volume, order and coasts of work on modernisation are set in aditional contracts.
