GeoradarV.V, Tikhomirov Instrument Engineering Research Institute in collaboration with Ltd. Company лLogic systems» developed a number of Georadars in the frequency range between 25 and 1200 MHz which provide the probing of various kinds of medium, soil and water at a depth from 0.5 to 20.0 m with resolution from 0.05 to 1.0 m, respectively. PURPOSE Georadars are designed for detecting a variety of objects and heterogeneities( including pipelines, karst voids and water erosions in railway beds or motor roads) in soil, underwater, bulk cargoes and other medium. The Georadar can also find its application in archaeology, in building and repairing activities as well as in searching for criminal and contraband burial mounds, etc. STRUCTURE Functional structure of the Georadar includes: Х aerial assembly comprising transceiving aerials, transceivers and radar data processing systems. The probing depth and Georadar resolution are determined by the type of the serial assembly; Х Processing, control and indicating unit (as a rule, Notebook of лNEWTON», лLIBRETTO or other types); Х Storage battery unit Х Telescope rods. Power supply: built-in 12 V Storage battery RS-232 Standard interface. Georadar can be connected to any PC-compatible computer through a serial RS-232 interface for additional data processing, creating data bank, etc
