In 1978 was make a decision to elaborate unified armament systems for the aircrafts SU - 27 and MIG - 29. The elaboration was held in `Fazotron` association, General director of which was V.K.Gn`shin - he was appointed Chief designer of the project. 70 % - that was the degree of unification between the systems, which gave certain winning in the serial production. In 1982 the samples, which met technical requirements, were created and installed on the airplanes. A lot of test flights and launches were held. Finally, joint tests were successfully finished in 1985 and the weapon control system SUV - 27 was accepted for armament in the structure of the airplane. The delivery of the equipment is for export. Together with SU - 27 aircraft and equipment elaboration the creation of the weapon control systems SUV - 30 and SUV - 33 for the shipborne aircraft SU - 27K {SU - 30 and SU - 33) was held. The weapon control systems SUV - 30 and SUV - 33 provided for the military resources expansion of the thermal cuer, improvement of the military and operating characteristics. The electro - magnetic compatibility with the aircraft carrier systems and new software were worked out. In 1998 the aircraft SU - 33 with SUV-33 system was accepted for armament in the Russian Army
