Description |
 PURPOSE "Delta-Geon" Seismic Signal Recorder is designed for automatic registering the seismic signals caused either by the natural or artificial sources of earthquake vibrations including regional seismic surveys and microseismic zonation.
OPERATING CONDITIONS
- uninterrupted registration mode;
- registration when detecting a seismic event;
- registration at preset intervals (according to the calendar).
In the mode of when detecting» a digital signal processor included in the Recorder detects and registers only valid seismic signals with great precision.
CONTROLLING Recorder control (parameter loading, current state analysis, actuation of one of the operating conditions, etc,) is achieved with a personal computer of a Note Book type or a Control and Clock Unit using a standard RS-232 interface.
SYNCHRONIZATION Seismic data synchronization is obtained using a real-time clock. Base frequency of a real-time clock is formed with a highly-stable thermostabilized generator The real-time clock is set using a control and clock unit with a built-in GPS-receiver.
LOCAL NETWORK The Recorder can operate in connection with telephone or radio modems. This allows creating the local telemetric network using telephone lines, cellular and satellite communications or a permissible radio-channel. Such methods of control allow the field materials to be received directly at the site of data processing.
METROLOGY The complete set of the Recorder may include an auxiliary device and a software package designed for the metrologic validation of the Recorder before its use. This device automatically checks if the Recorder basic parameters correspond to technical requirements.
SOFTWARE The Recorder software functions in Windows 95 environment. Thanks to a handy interface the methods of Recorder control can be easily mastered. The seismic data obtained can be instantly analyzed due to graphic features. The software allows using the personal computer as a central unit for information acquisitions in a local seismic network.
