Description

SM146 engine is designed to power a perspective Russian Regional Jet (RRJ). In accordance with the results of technical and commercial expertise on the base of criteria determined by Sukhoi and Boeing the choice was made for this engine.

SM146 engine featuring the thrust from 13500 to 17500 lbs (from 6130 to 8000 kgf) is designed specially for regional market. The engine is unified to power all versions of RRJ family (base and long range) with 60-63, 75-78, 95-98 seats.SM146 engine is based on a new DEM21 core designed and tested by Snecma Moteurs.
