Four cross-polar airlines passing across Russia are available for regular flights from February 1, 2001. The airport "Krasnoyarsk" is adopted as an alternate airdrome providing the maintenance of the cross-polar airlines, passing across Russia. The Airline Company "KrasAir" protected the investment project of retrofitting of the airport "Krasnoyarsk" with the aim of creation of transit zone.

According to the developed by "KrasAir" program of modernization of aircraft fleet, during the process of step-by-step purchasing of aircraft for cross-polar flights, the Airline Company "KrasAir" will be able to execute these flights by its own facilities.
