This is the first-ever domestic system for effective treatment of deep differently sited tumors.
for civil purposes
SUPERTERM EP 40 makes use of an improved version of the capacitive heating technique. Approved by the Russian Health Ministry this device costs 30 percent less than similar foreign devices while offering wide functionality.
SUPERTERM EP 40 is a set of dedicated automated systems under a common computerized control. Hyperthermia parameters can be logged. A set of irradiators with sizes ranging from 5 ґ 7 cm to 25 ґ 40 cm is provided. An automatic circulation system controls heat removal from the heated area.
A unique design of the orientation system, the hyperthermia table and the chair enable irradiators to be mounted opposite any part of the patient’s body while allowing the patient to take up a convenient position. The temperatures of both the tumorous and the normal tissue can be continuously monitored by an eight-channel fiber-optics thermometric system.
The operating frequency of the system’s generator is 40.68 MHz with the output power variable between 10 and 500 W. Power supply requirements: 380/220 V, 7.5 kW. Floor space area required: 12 sq. meters.
