The Medical Equipment and Commodities Plant (MECP), Khrunichev Space Center develops and manufactures medical equipment with main emphasis on devices to support hyperbaric oxygenation treatment (HBOT) units and/or intensive care units. Another business area is the development and production of commodities.

The operation of MECP medical equipment by treatment facilities such as the Burdenko Central Military Hospital, the Central Hospital Under the Ministry of the Interior, the Central Hospital Under the Federal Security Services, the Sklifosovsky Emergency Medical Assistance Research Institute, the Surgery Research Center, Russian Academy of Sciences, the medical care facilities reporting to the Medical Center, the Presidential Office and MONIKI has testified to the high reliability of this equipment achieved through the use of manufacturing processes and the QA system generally accepted in the space-industry.

The fact that our medical equipment and its production have been certified by the authorized international centers has made it possible to have this equipment registered by the national health-care bodies in countries such as Brazil, Australia, Greece, Turkey, South Korea, Argentina and Panama, which in turn has opened the way for exporting this equipment to these countries.
