BLKS 303MK is designed to apply hyperbaric oxygenation therapy (HBOT) that makes use of the effect of pure oxygen on a patient in a pressurized chamber.
HBOT is applied in cases of blood circulation disorders in the vessels of limbs or the brain, gastrointestinal disturbances and reproductive function abnormalities as well as in various events requiring intensive therapy or resuscitation.

The BLKS 303MK HBOT system includes an HBO chamber, a control panel, a base, a trolley, a trolley top (with a mattress) and a spare parts kit.
An B 001 portable HBOT monitor is used to monitor the HBO chamber’s internal background (i.e., pressure, the compression/decompression rate, RH, temperature, and CO2/oxygen concentration) or the patient’s physiological status (i.e., ECG, photoplethysmography, the heart rate, and the blood oxygen saturation SpO2).
An option is available with a pressurized-air internal background and a breathing mask system.
The BLKS 303MK HBOT (Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy) System has been developed by the Khrunichev Space Center (KhSC) and KhSC launched production of this system in 1995.
This system is distinguished for its increased convenience for the patient, friendly control devices and simple operation. Its internal dimensions, the highest ones among the domestic HBOT systems, combined with large rectangular view ports make it easier for the patient to adapt to the closed space environment, a feature of especial significance for overweight patients and parturient women.
The better weight-and-size properties of BLKS 303MK simplify cleansing and moving the system.
The use of space-industry standard processes to fabricate this hyperbaric chamber (HBC) is a prerequisite for its high reliability.
BLKS 303MK has been certified for compliance with CE standards and has been labeled as CE. It was registered with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in 2001, has an international certificate, and the Russian Health Ministry has recommended it for use by patient treatment or health care institutions.
