Air Route Radar Complex UTES-T is designed to provide Air Traffic Control (ATC) for aircraft at Civil Aviation airways.
Radar Complex UTES-T includes as components:
- primary radar (PR);
- built-in Secondary Radar (SR) or equipment for interfacing with an independent SR (by Customer`s request);
- equipment for processing and association of radar data from PR and SR.
The PR comprises:
- antenna module and feeder section;
- solid-state transmitting device;
- receiving system;
- signal processing system;
- radar head processor;
- automated system of monitoring and control;
- auxiliary systems.
By Buyer`s request the radar complex UTES-T can have as a component a built-in SSR of any type.
Air Route Primary Surveillance Radar integrated in UTES-T complex operates in L-band (23 cm) and is a highly stable radar designed on the principle of true coherency. Composition of the complex and its structure are similar to the ones of UTES-A terminal radar.
The difference is that the primary radar of UTES-T radar complex operates in other modes than UTES-A and has higher-capacity transmitter, which includes as components four output amplifier cabinets instead of two in UTES-A radar complex.
