The plant was founded in 1929 as "Theromoelectropribor" plant. In 1931 it received the name "Pirometr". In 1993г the plant became Joint-Stock Company.
"Pirometr" specializes in manufacture of aircraft instruments, automatic control systems and flight-navigation complexes. The plant is also involved in research and development works on units and systems for the new models of Su and MiG.
"Pirometr, JSC is a participant of the International financial-industrial group "Defense Systems" within the framework of which produces components for anti-aircraft systems S-300.
