DS-83 GorisontDS-83 `Gorizont` gimballess electronic compass

The DS-83 `Gorizont` is a gimballess electronic compass with
automatic system of magnetic deviation compensation.
The DS-83 `Gorizont` consists of the control & indication block
and the sensor block.



The DS-83 compass provides:
- automatic magnetic deviation write off (calibration) within one full circulation cycle,
- storage of declination parameters and calibration coefficients in non-volatile memory,
- direct connection with an external navigation system via a serial interface according with the NMEA-0183 International Standard,
- calculation of the magnetic course in the range of 80 north latitude to 80 south latitude

The DS-83 compass calculates the following values:
- magnetic course
- true course
- deviation from the fixed course
- angle of heel
- angle of trim

The DS-83 modifications can be used on automobiles, cartography, land navigation systems.
