Sergey Chemezov was born on August, 20, 1952 in Irkutsk area.
In 1975 has graduated from Irkutsk institute of a national economy, then worked in Irkutsk Scientific Research Institute of Rare and Nonferrous Metals and Experimental-Industrial Association Beam.
From 1983 till 1988 he has headed representation of Beam in GDR.
Since 1989 he is Assistant of the General director of foreign trade association Sovintersport.
In 1996 he has headed Department of foreign economic relations of the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation.
In 1999 he became the General director of FSUE Tehnoexport.
From 2004 and till now Sergey Chemezov is the General director of FSUE Rosoboronexport.
