KARAT - B30 provides acquisition and processing of data incoming from airborne systems and aircraft intercom via digital and analogue communication lines as well as the data recording in a solid-state recorder and storage in case of a flight accident.

Flight data processing is performed by the Ground Data Processing System.

KARAT B30 combines the functions of crash recorder and voice data recording unit and provides SOK (Objective Control System) data recording

ZBN-NP MULTIFUNCTIONAL PROTECTED PARAMETRIC FLIGHT AND VOICE DATA RECORDER (ANALOGUE OF DDVR)

FUNCTION:

The ZBN-NP performs reception of:

1.  Audio data: 1 channel (up to 4 channels)
2.  Parametric data ARINC-717
3.  Auxiliary data RS-422 (1 Mb/s)
   Data read-out can be provided with the Ethernet or RS-422 channels.

FUNCTION:

The KPA provides:

1. data read-out and transfer to the ground processing system
2.  aboard carrying out of technological and calibration operations

4.  playback of audio data recorded in ZBN-NP (DDVR)
5.  KARAT-830 system extended testing in aircraft structure
6. real time monitoring of data acquisition and processing
7. preparation of calibration data file and its recording into the Karat-830 memory.
