The system has found application in several types of aircraft including such giants as the RUSLAN and MRIYA.

I-21 Inertial Navigation System - a fully selfcontained automatic aircraft control system. The high-precision reckoning ability of the system is provided by precision accelerometers and Floating gyros.
The most important distinguishing feature of the system is independent navigation in relative motion around the Earth, polar regions inclusive. The system remains serviceable in conditions of arbitrary aircraft orientation.
