It is designed to reduce crew workload during take-off, landing and low-level flight as well as to solve the tasks:
- 2D and 3D-images synthesis with the superimposing of flight / navigation data,
- formation of ”flyover” and ”avoidance” of obstacles during low-level flights,
- formation of ground proximity warning signals during low-level flight, take-off and landing,
- position updating according to terrain surface and populated area by correlation / external method.
