The solid-state hemispherical resonator gyro is designed for strapdown inertial navigation system as integrating gyroscope.

GVK-16 Small-sized dynamically tuned gyro

The gyro is designed as a sensing element in small-size middle - accuracy angular rate sensors for multipurpose interspecific application of movable objects as well as strapdown inertial navigation systems (INS) and stabilization systems.
