MAKS' 97
From MAKS history
Major efforts have been taken to improve the MAKS infrastructure for the 1997 show. A new 4,000 square meter exhibition pavilion has been built, and 160,000 square meters of open-air exhibition grounds were added. Roads have been improved, and additional car park areas were created. More than 400 aerospace companies and organizations from 24 countries took part at the Third International Aviation and Space Salon MAKS'97. The exposition included more than 150 aircraft. During the show flight display program 382 flights were carried out. Numerous symposiums and seminars promoted the interchange of scientific and technology information. More than 500 thousand visitors attended the Exhibition.
