The testing - area has unique facilities available for full - scale tests and researches of equipped for combat application aircraft armament complexes and aviation technology products: supersonic test track; aeroballistic ranges with variable density and atmospheric composition: light gas launching facilities of 15 mm - 100 mm calibre: test rigs for tests of solid, liquid and air - jet engines; test rigs for light and electromagnetic effects; test rigs for evaluation of survivability of aerospace technology products; test rigs for aerosol formation and two-phase flow researches; test rigs for evaluation of reliability of equipped items. The testing - area conducts certification tests of aircraft seats, flight data recorders, birdstrike resistance of structure components.
