The Joint Stock Company START is the leading enterprise of Russia and of the CIS in production of ground servicing aerodrome equipment. For many years the plant articles have been exported to China, Egypt, Syria, India and other countries. Within the frames of conversion programs, the plant has begun manufacturing equipment for repairing and maintaining cars, single-, two- and fourseater light aeroplanes made of glass-reinforced plastic.
