The primary business of the Joint Venture Company is to develop and engage in one or more programs in Russia in the manufacturing of civil aircraft engines and aeroderivative gas turbines for ground application. The Parties currently envision the following operation of the Joint Venture Company: LM 2500 Aeroderivative Gas Turbine Programs for industrial power generation and gas pumping; CT-7 Aviation Engine Modification Program to re-engine the existing Russian helicopter fleet, for the application on a brand-new design helicopter Kamov-64 and on a brand-new design turboprop aircraft S-80. Aircraft and Aeroderivative Gas Turbine Field Service Program.
