Rosvoorouzhenie, the State Corporation for Export and Import of Armament and Military Equipment was established in November, 1993. Rosvoorouzhenie represents at the world market the interests of Russian defence industry manufacturing modern competitive armaments. The main spheres of activities of Rosvoorouzhenie are export and import all types of conventional armaments, as well as licenses for the manufacture; deliveries of spare parts, tools and accessories to ensure proper operation of supplied armaments; repair; modernization: construction of military projects abroad; training of national personnel; investments into Russian defence industries, etc. Rosvooruzhenie cooperates with 50 foreign states and has its representations in 30 countries.
