NAPA is one of the biggest aircraft plants in Russia. From 1937 till 1992, it produced thousands of military aircraft of Yakoviev, Mikoyan and Sukhoy Design Bureaux, including the major aircraft of Russia's Air Force, the Su- 24. The Su-34 tighter/bomber produced by NAPA made its made in flight in 1993. Antonov's An-38 regional turboprop made its first flight in 1994 and was certified in 1997. Implementation of up-to-date technologies at NAPA allows to manufacture aircraft after the international standards.
