Since 1947 we have been involved in designing and producing helicopters. We have designed 15 main helicopter type (12 types have been produced in great numbers, I type is about to be produced, 2 types were experimental ones): more than 100 modifications have been derived from these types. Mil helicopters (26,000 aircraft have been produced) make up 25% of the total number of the helicopters ever produced in the world. Mil helicopters make up more than 95% of all the helicopters ever produced in the USSR and Russia. Export deliveries of Mil helicopters used to bring about 30-50% of total annual export proceeds gained by the USSR aviation industry. Mil helicopters have established 96 world records. MHP has an experience to design and produce helicopters in cooperation with helicopter companies in other countries.
