Kazan Helicopter Plant is one of the largest producers of medium helicopters at the world. Production of helicopters at the plant began in 1951. K.H.P. exports helicopters since 1956, and has vast experience in supporting their production abroad. K.H.P. is specialized in the manufacturing of widely-known Mi-8 and Mi-17 helicopters and all their modifications: transport, passenger VIP., flying hospital, SAR, military helicopter, which have gained an excellent reputation during operation in more than 60 countries. Since 1993 ANSAT light helicopter (3300 kg take off weight) in process, first flight in 1998.
