Snecma has established a solid position as a world-class player in aerospace engineering. Leveraging the advantages of its cross-disciplinary skills base, Snecma is revamping its structure to focus on its three core business: propulsion, mechanical equipment and services. The results posted by Snecma in 1996, along with projected earnings for 1997, confirm a solid business recovery. Snecma increased its consolidated sales by 4% to 18.7 billion francs in 1996, and expects a strong rise in earning for 1997.
