EUROCOPTER, a number one European 2-10 tonnes helicopter manufacturer, was founded by AEROSPATIALE and DASA. Average annual turnover is 10 billion FF. Helicopters: AS-350/355 ECUREUIL, AS-365N2 DAUPHIN, AS-332 SuperPUMA, BO-105, BK-I 17, EC-120, EC-135. EUROCOPTER is the number one worldwide helicopter exporter: more than 50% of its turnover is export supply. It sold 1 1000 helicopters to 1600 operators in 127 countries. EUROCOPTER was a leader in helicopter orders in 1996 (order for more than 12 billion FF). EUROCOPTER has subsidiaries in more than 15 countries. It shares JV EUROMIL (Russia), which designs and produces Mi-38 helicopter. Russian EMERCOM uses BO-105 helicopters in its activity.
