R&D Institute of Mechanical Engineering can develop high-efficient reactive control system modules. They are designed for:
emergency escape capsules for cosmonauts and pilots, information and cargo load delivery from spacecraft to Earth and other planets,
orbital manoeuvring vehicle (space tug) for cargo delivery from space station to the high-altitude orbits, to Moon etc., removal of the vehicles from their operating orbits at the end of the service life and other operations,
universal module reactive control system for stabilization and orientation of different vehicles, their attitude and motion control including their transfer to safe orbits or ensuring controllable descent in case of vehicle injection to an off-design orbits or in case of service life termination.
If the command duration is 0.005 s and longer, the low thrust rocket engines execute the guaranteed thrust pulse.
Types and number of LTRE, power and dynamic characteristics, overall dimensions and mass will be determined in the process ofRFP agreement.
Depending on customer's demand the reactive control systems on long-term storage propellants could be supplied filled-up.
R&D Institute of Mechanical Engineering can also
develop totally autonomous reactive control system modules connected with a customer's article only by the attachment points and electric cables to control the LTRE operation,
carry out comprehensive tests of customer's articles with the reactive control system operating on real propellants.
