Mass flow stabilizers with plate elastic element designed for working mediums mass flow
stabilization were developed by R&D Institute of Mechanical Engineering and are used in low
thrust rocket engines and technological systems. When the working medium pressure at the
stabilizer inlet is changed 2.5 time (from 2.4 MPa to 6.0 MPa) the working medium flow rate
is kept within +0.5% and less.
The natural frequency of control system obtains 2,000 Hz that provides the operating medium
response time of not over 0.5 ms for the input pressure changing.
R&DIME can develop mass flow rate stabilizers with water flow rate up to 1 kg/s on different
working mediums including oxygen, hydrogen, natural gas, methane etc.
