Small-sized aircraft radar altimeters A-052 AND A-053

A-052 is intended for helicopters but may be installed on aircraft of any type with minimum height of antenna installation from 0,3 m and more in parking configuration.

A-053 is intended to be used for general aviation, aircraft of main air lines.

A-053-08 MAВИ.461531.003-08
The radar altimeters A-052 and A-053 are the airborne FM/CW radar systems with small dimensions and mass, high reliability and validity of output information. The radar altimeters comply with DO-160, TSO-C87 Specifications and aircraft airworthiness requirements ”НЛГС”.
The transceiver design features allow to install it on a board of aircraft without a shock-proof base.

The low altitude radar altimeter A-053-08 MAВИ.461531.003-08 has ”Suitability certificate of product”, №СГКИ-110-127-A-053-08 of Interstate aviation committee, certifying that A-053-08 is approved for installation on samples of aviation materiel.
