Description
ARM – controller includes:
Central unit – 1
Dual – channel peripheral unit – 3
Operating manuals.
Central unit provides:
- interfacing with airborne radio- electronic equipment and RWR by means of ДПК ГОСТ 18997-79(ARINC ff);
- monitoring of ARM flight conditions observance;
- measuring of ARM firing ranges and zones;
- peripheral units control by means of interface MKИO ГОСТ 26765.52-87(MIL-STD-1553B);
- blanking - pulses distribution between peripheral units;
- current self-testing and peripheral units operation monitoring.
Peripheral unit provides:
- real time PARS control of 2 ARMs using digital, analog and pulse signals;
- emitting target ranging enables the following methods to be undertaken: elevation angle method, kinematic method (with aircraft manoeuvering) and programmed coordinates calculation;
- blanking- pulses formation to achieve EMC;
- current self-testing and PARS operation monitoring.
ARM controller is designed to provide:
- simultaneous control of 6 passive anti-radiation seekers (PARS) integrated into anti- radiation missiles (ARM);
- search, detection and tracking emitting ground targets. Operating off-line, the system receives data from PARS; when RWR provides target data it functions using pre-programmed parameters and coordinates;
- emitting target ranging and measuring ARM firing ranges and zones
- data processing to warn the crew in different moments of attack
Additional information
ARM –controller operates in all missile applications under all flight conditions.
ARM – controller functions in the following modes:
- opportunity targets detected by RWR;
- program targets set by geographic coordinates and radio-technique parameters;
- targets detected off-line by system comprising ARM-controller and PARS.
Test and troubleshooting equipment provides functional check, technical support and combat readiness during ARM-controller service life.
