Test rig is meant for:
- Control of the components interaction;
- Control of the mathematical & software computer systems;
- Control of the crew interaction with the cockpit informational field at:
simulation of the aircraft aerodynamics, remote and automatic control, control links, feeders and trimming tabs;
engines simulation;
environment simulation ( permanent and vortex flows, equalization facilities arrangement etc).;
simulation of the input signals from geo - physic field sensors including measurement error model;
simulation of the mating equipment;
visualization of the cockpit outside area ;
simulation of the radar and TV images shaped in weapon;

Multifunctional systems, multifunctional integrated dispay, units.


Test rig to control informational field and rendering is a software & hardware facilities meant for the cockpit informational field control, aircraft weapon, navigation and radar control.
Structurally the hardware arrangement is as follows:
- Tandem arrangement of the simulated double seat aircraft in the cabin mock up. Cabin mock -ups are equipped with К-36ДМ seats, aircraft and engine controls, control panels for standard aircraft;
- In addition to standard controls the information & control field of the first cockpit is equipped with a windshield display (ИЛС-31), three 6x8 monitors and two 5x5 monitors.
- In addition to standard controls the information & control field of the second cockpit is equipped with three 6x8 monitors and one 8x6 monitor.
- The simulation sub system of the cockpit outside area and radar and TV sensors image is based on three 6x8 monitors and 3 projectors with displays.
- The semi full scale simulation sub system (aircraft model, sensors model etc) is based on the 1 electronic computer system;
- The sub system of the electronic map display is based on 2 electronic computer systems.
- The sub system of the voice control is based on the electronic computer.

Operator seat is based on the electronic computer and provides for the fulfillment of the following tasks:
- In flight aircraft control;
- Failures input;
- Development of the training scenario and flight conditions: initial conditions, configuration, re -fuelling, day ight, nebulosity etc.;
- Training data filing in a data base;
- Recorded flight imaging on the computer;
- AT controller;
- Impartial evaluation of the flight .

Visualization system uses the elements of hands- on aircraft and engine control using throttle knobs, voice control, menu and screen frame electronic knobs.
