'X'— share tail rotor is intended for a new battle helicopter Mi-28 'Kombat', also for
modernized helicopters Mi—24 (Mi—35), Mi—8MT, Mi—17 and their modifications.
Modernization allows to improve considerably operational characteristics of the
rotors.
The use of composites in production of loadcarrying parts of blade, elastomer bear-
ings in mobile junctions of tail rotor hubs, that don`t requre librication, increases safe life,
reliability and service terms of the rotors.
Maintenance and overhaul of the tail rotors is performed at the plant.
