Military Programmes
Su-30MK Ц multirole combat aircraft
Su-30MK is recognized as one of the best up-to-date multirole combat aircraft in the world. This is the first serially produced combat aircraft featuring superior maneuverability due the thrust vectoring control. It is developed on the basis of Su-30K long-range fighter-interceptor (18 aircraft has already been delivered to India).
The Su-30MK is the largest program, currently being implemented by the IRKUT Corporation. It is related to providing the Indian Air Force with the fighters of the Su-30 type. The Indian companies took an active part in the development of the on-board equipment of the Su-30MK.
In accordance with the Agreements of 1996 and 2000, the Indian Air Force will receive fifty aircraft. The license production of the Su-30MKI is being established by the Indian corporation HAL, with IRKUT Corporation designated as the major contractor.
Su-27UBK
IRKUT continues serial production of the Su-27UBK two-seat fighter-trainer, the basic training asset of Russian Air Force. Currently, the Corporation is fulfilling the contract on delivery of the aircraft of this type to China.
Su-30KN and Su-27UBM
The IRKUT Corporation has developed the concept of upgrading Su-27UB and Su-30 aircraft. Modernized aircraft are designated as Su-27UBM and Su-30KN (export variant) respectively. Compared to the basic Su-27 and Su-30 versions, these upgraded aircraft feature enhanced air-to-air and air-to-ground attack capabilities due to the broadened set of guided weaponry (including R-77, Kh-29, Kh-31, and Kh-59ME missiles), as well as introduction of a number of new radar modes, including that of the ground mapping. The crewТs operational conditions are also improved due to installation of multi-function displays.
The developed technology ensures aircraft upgrading either in production facility or in operational Air Force units. The manufacturing of brand-new Su-30KN aircraft is also envisioned.
Civil Programmes
Be-200
The first test sample of the Be-200 multi-purpose amphibious jet took off on September 24, 1998. The first stage of certification test had been completed. At MAKS-2001 Air Show, a type certificate for the fire-fighting version of the aircraft has been officially entrusted. The 2nd stage of certification tests for patrol and passenger versions with foreign-made engines is currently undergoing. Preparation for serial production of the Be-200 has been completed and implementation of the contract obligations for the production of seven aircraft for the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation has been started.

Greece, Germany, France, China, South Korea demonstrate considerable interest in Be-200 various versions.
MTA (Multipurpose Transport Aircraft)
The international project on joined development and production of multi-role transport aircraft has been launched recently. MTA design promises a wide variety of applications, including transportation of up to 20-t cargo, maritime patrol, rescue operations and medevac missions. This aircraft is supposed to replace aging fleet of the An-12, An-26, An-32, etc. The major participants of the project will be HAL (India), IRKUT, Ilyushin Aviation Complex (Russia). The project will be carried out basis of risks sharing principle. The enterprises participating in the project will cooperate in the format of consortium, which further will be transformed into a joint stock company.
A-002 gyroplane
The A-002 gyroplane developed by the IAIA Lightweight Aircraft Design Bureau is a 3-seat aerial vehicle featuring enhanced takeoff/landing capabilities and off-the-airfield basing. The first test sample of the
A-002 took off on April 21, 2002. Featuring capabilities of both helicopter and aircraft, it can be employed for patrol, search-and-rescue, medevac missions, as well as for passenger and light-weight cargo transportation.
