Description
ECET manufactures ignition systems for multiple applications in the fields of civil and military aviation (jet engines; engines; missiles; turboprop engines; APU) and industry (industrial turbines for power generation, for co-generation; microturbines and marine propulsion).
ECET, the European specialist in ignition systems for gas turbines offers a wide range of products combining technology, versatility and reliability.
- Ignition exciters:
High-energy thyristorized, spark-gap or capacitive discharge exciters / Adaptable supply voltage / Output voltage variable from 2kV to 30Kv / Energy stored from a few milliJoules to 12 Joules / Single or multi-channel systems / Voltage, power and discharge frequency on request.
- Spark plugs:
solid-state or in-air electrode type spark plugs operating from 2kV to 20kV.
- Leads:
use of VHV conductor cable with single or double braid for enhances control of the seal, radiation and energy dissipation.
UL, CSA, CE and EX certifications upon request for our industrial product range.
ECET has for many years been designing and manufacturing ignition systems for gas turbines in the field of aerospace, and in the civil, military and industrial sectors.
These systems contain ”high energy” ignition units, of high or low voltage, which use either spark-gap-based or thyristor-based technology, as well as air gap or semi-conductor spark plugs.
These systems have been adapted to guarantee, at the lowest price, both reliability and, more specifically, the compliance of aeronautical standards as well as the harshest of job specifications (temperature, humidity, pressure, altitude, shocks and vibrations, fire resistance, electric and electromagnetic disturbance resistance, EMC…).
ECET’s specific test benches make it possible to demonstrate the reliability of its equipment in harsh temperature and pressure conditions.
