On behalf of 5-th International Aviation and space saloon I heartily welcome its dear participants and guests!
The airshow is traditionally took place at the site of the High Research Institute named after Gromov in the near-Moscow Zhukovsky. It is their exactly ten years ago the Russian aerospace industry enterprises have organized «Mosaeroshow-92» exhibition for the first time. It was mentioned by as public and specialists and took its firm position among the leading world airshows. Trairshow characteristic feature its high scientific and technical paticipants level, good organization, developed infrastructure, mecling with the world requirement have been recognized.
I happy to mention the increasing dynamic of Russian, CIS foreign enterprises and companies participation at the airshow. First of all, it is evident about increased authority of aviation and spacing exhibitions, carried out at our country, about interests to Russia
as a partner in the newest technologies joint projects development and realization.
Reach program of 5-th International Aviation and space saloon large number of developers, manufacturers and consumers participated in it, makes its possible to consider MAKS-2001 as one of the largest exhibition events of the year.
The international aviation and space show becomes not only place for demonstration of the aviation, space and missile products latest achievements but also international commercial negotiations important center.
I believe, that Russian enterprises, able to design all range of aviation and space products, will show its high scientific and industrial level, and his ability to competition at the equal terms with leading foreign manufacturers of the high technologies world market.
