Brief history |

| Kiev State Aviation Plant AVIANT is one of the oldest aviation enterprises of the former USSR. Established in 1920, it has preserved the reputation of the leading one during its long history in the sphere of aircraft building in Ukraine and in the countries of CIS. Well-known all over the world aircraft worked out by design bureau `ANTONOV` and manufactured on `AVIANT` facility: An-2 - multi-purpose aircraft (1947-1959, more than 3000 aircraft produced), An-8 - transport aircraft (1956-1959), An-24 - passenger aircraft (1959-1978, more than 1100 aircraft produced), An-26- transport aircraft (1969-1985, more than 1300 aircraft produced), An-30 - aircraft for air photography (1973-1979), An-32 - transport aircraft (1983), An-124, `Ruslan` - transport aircraft (1985). In present days on KiSAP `AVIANT` facility put in order serial producing of An-32, An-70, TU-334-100 aircraft. An-32 - transport aircraft providing for carrying the cargoes weight of which up to 6,7 T in tight lounge. Aircraft is fitted with on-board loading/unloading system, ramp extension. It offers the best advantages while using in hot climate (up to + 50 C) and on high-level airdromes (up to 4500 m altitude). An-32 can be used at unpaved and snow-covers airfields. Versions with foreign avionics and increased engines` resource up to 20000 hours, take-off weight up to 28,5 t and payload up to 7,5 t are developed. An-70 - medium wide-bodied transport aircraft for transportation of cargoes weight of which are up to 35 t for distance up to 5000 km at the maximum speed 800 km/h. The aircraft is provided for standard concrete pavement runway of maximum length up to 2200 m or for short unpaved 800 m fields. TU-334-100 - short-distance passenger aircraft for operation on 3000 km airlines and transportation of 102 passengers. It is powered with two D-436T1 jets (tractive force 7500 kgf). The possibility of installation of foreign-manufactured BR-715-55 engines and avionics is envisaged. For the period of its activity AVIANT has produced more than 6000 aircraft. |
