Brief history
The company started in 1941 after a recently founded Gromov plant No 469 was evacuated from the town of Solnechnogorsk in Moscow region to Gorky. In a month after evacuation the plant started product manufacture. In 1945, September 16 by decree of the Supreme Council of the USSR the plant was awarded the order of the Red Star for excellent execution of governmental tasks of aircraft unit production.
