Brief history |

| The enterprise was founded on November 5, 1941 when two evacuated Moscow enterprises and Kirov Aggregate Works of People`s Commissariat of Aircraft Industry integrated in one on the territory of Kirov. For the expansion of production the branch of the works was founded in Kirovo-Chepetsk, Kirov Region at the beginning of 1970s. In 1972 the branch was renamed in Kirovo-Chepetsk Electric Machine Building Works by the order of Ministry of Aircraft Industry. In 1976 Kirov Electric Machine Building Corporation named after Lepse (KEMPO named after Lepse) was founded on the basis of two works. In 1992 the procedure of incorporation began. In 1996 the works became the opened joint-stock company with private form of property and was renamed in Joint-Stock Company Electric Machine Building Works LEPSE. In 2001 the enterprise`s system of quality was certificated according to the international standard ISO-9001. The enterprise has the license for development, production and repair of aeronautical engineering. |
