Brief history

The interstate financial and industrial group (IFIG) `Defence systems` was created according to the intergovernmental agreement between Russian Federation and Belarus Republic dated February 11, 2000, on the basis of the FIG `Defence systems`, by the integration of the Byelorussian enterprises and organizations.The managing body of the company is the Board of Directors. According to the agreement `On the creation of IFIG `Defence systems` dated June, 20, 2000 between the juridical persons of Russian Federation and Belarus Republic the JSC `Defence systems` (Moscow) was proclaimed the central company of the IFIG.The basic purpose of creation of the interstate financial and industrial group is the use of scientific and technical, industrial and investment potential of its participants for performance of works on creation and production of hi-tech and competitive in the world market air defence means and systems, the double and civil purpose production.
