Avicos is one of the leaders of Aviation and Space insurance in Russia and former Soviet Union.
The Company was started in 1991 as a specialist aerospace insurer and provides full range of insurance services for the aerospace industry. Among Avicos clients there are over 100 airlines including National Flag Carriers of Uzbekistan, Syria and Ukraine, leading aviation and space manufacturers. Since 1992 Avicos has been responsible for Accident&Health insurance program for Russian cosmonauts. In March 2001 Avicos participated in a unique third party liability insurance placement for de-orbiting of Mir Space Station. |
