Activity: Mil Moscow Helicopter Plant (MMHP) is the Mil helicopter Designer ( they amount to 95% of civil helicopters in the CIS and 99% of the Russian Army helicopter fleet). The Mil Moscow Helicopter Plant is the only company in the world designing helicopters whose payload capacities range from 200 kgf (Mi-34) to 20,000 kgf (Mi-26). At present, the MMHP is carrying programs of upgrading the Mi-8 and Mi-24 civil and military helicopters of different modifications. The Mi-28N attack helicopter fitted with an integrated package of airborne systems of the fifth generation and capable of performing round-the-clock missions is being tested. The Mi-38, a Russian-French civil multipurpose helicopter, designed according to the international certification requirements is about to make its maiden flight. The Mi-54 multipupose helicopter of up to 1,500 kgf payload capacity is being designed.
